so i did it:)
2day is the 7th day of week 1 on P90X Lean.
and i am quite proud of myself. going from 5 workout days to 7days, in a row, is pretty crazy…and there were times, honestly, i didn’t wanna get out of bed. I got pushed with this whole process and I ache in places, but i feel accomplished. Like no matter how much I ache, I know it’ll only make me stronger, healthy and more fit.
my form is still kinda funky, and my stretching isn’t quite there and my yoga needs hella work. i feel like i have 2 left of everything..lol. trying 2 keep up, but more trying to get the moves right.
the 7th day was more deep stretching which felt great..then it’s back to the pain and sweat tomorrow.
i also signed up for my 1st marathon in November…which i’m super excited. i’ve been wanting to do one, for some odd reason, and the fact that its for a good cause, even better. it’s a one day 5k, walk or run.
it’s Komen San Diego Race for the Cure.
so, i’m nervous, excited, anxious. i know it’s only a 5k, but it’s still a marathon. so because i’m in a new exercise program, babe gave me the great idea of starting, at least 1 day a week, go running, so that i’m ready. cuzz when i don’t run for a while, it can get a lil hard to continuously run, without stopping or walking. the cool thing is you can walk, but i’d like see if I can run the whole thing:)
I said i was going to raise $100…and I made my goal the first day thanks 2 one of sistahs(whos mom is currently battling breast cancer)…and so far ive raised $125…which makes me pumped. i’m going to do my best and raise as much as i can.
if any of my readers, would like to donate to a great cause, to finding the cure to breast cancer, feel free to go to the link below. if not, thats cool:)…just wish me luck:o)

Everything aches. Did NOT want to get out of bed. I’m bonkers to go from a 5 day workout schedule to a 7 day, intense workout. Gotta keep motivated. Hardest step is getting out of bed….but I do that, I’m gold!…or in my case, platinum:-P
i guess technically it would be considered Day 1(but since ive done 2 days of it, and i ache ALL OVER, imma stick with saying im on Day 2:P)
i started yesterday(1st of the month)….with disc 1…before i read the book and saw they have 3 different programs you can do. i should have prepared more, but i didn’t…LOL.
i decided 2 do this because I have 3 months b4 my dress fitting, and I figured i’d rev up my workout. we’ve had it, collecting dust for a while, so i thought…why not.
HOLY SHIT!! i ache in places that i have either never ached in b4 or haven’t ached in a while….which, i guess is good…but damn….thats a workout.
i have NO upper body strength….and tumbled a lot. but Tony(the guy on the video) says it takes some time, but you get there…u just have 2 keep at it(i sound like the infomercial….LOL)
we’ll see if i can keep this up, cuzz it was sooooooooooooooooooooooo hard 2 get out of bed. but i did. so i guess thats a good start:o)
wish me luck:)
